How to set stop settings

This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to set the time/distance for the treadmill belt to stop moving after not being used.

What are Stopping settings?

The amount of seconds/distance the treadmill belt will cease to run following a user not being detected. This is a helpful safety feature when it comes to treadmills being left unattended or not stopped manually. The treadmill can detect foot placement on the belt and therefore, the stop countdown will only begin if a user is not physically on the treadmill.

How to set your belt stopping settings

1. Go into Settings and Select Advanced settings

2. Choose the Stopping tab

3. By selecting No Step, this is the amount of time it will take for the treadmill to stop if there are no steps/foot strikes on the treadmill belt

4. Auto is useful for interval training and is based on any sort of interaction rather than just steps. Auto is also useful if you are connected to an external device e.g. HR monitor. The treadmill will register this as being ‘in use’ e.g. even if you are standing on the side rails during a rest period in an interval workout. You can set time or distance for this.
