How to change between Sidekick Lite and Original

Sidekick Original Depreciated The Sidekick Original version has been depreciated and my no longer work as intended. It is recommended that you use Sidekick Lite.

Even though, Sidekick Lite might be great for some, others prefer the extra features that Sidekick offers.

Not to worry, you can switch easily between the two!

Open Settings from your E8i Home Screen
Select Software
Select Sidekick Settings
This page will tell you whether you are currently running Sidekick or Sidekick lite
Click the Orange Button to start the install of the alternate app
Once complete, enjoy your speedy Sidekick Lite or all-the-bells Sidekick!

Open Chrome from your E8i Home Screen
Use type in the URL provided
Once downloaded, open the file
Confirm you would like to install

Troubleshooting

Unable to install – Error newer version already installed.

Open Settings from your E8i Home Screen
Select Software
Select Sidekick Settings
Click the Orange Button to install Sidekick Original
This will uninstall Sidekick Lite and allow a manual update of the file.
Try the downloaded file again
