Everyone is different in how they want to measure things, that’s why we give you the choice!
How to do it
By default, the app is set to metric units, which means the data you see with be displayed in metres and kilometres.
You can also set the app’s units to imperial units, which will display the data in feet, yards, and miles.
You can change this setting very easily by doing the following:
- Open the Sidekick app.
- Ensure that the treadmill is NOT running, paused in this case counts as running.
- Open the Settings screen (or press the Cog icon on the run screen).
- Find the Units of measure section.
- Select the units you are most comfortable with.
You can also change the units without using the app, if you do this, the app will detect that you have changed and modify things to match.
Your choice should be remembered, it will also change on the treadmill main screen and will be remembered for your next session.
Â
Note: You cannot change the units if the treadmill is moving or paused. It needs to be STOPPED
Important notes
The app stores all data in metric units, and it does conversion to imperial units on the fly.
This means that when you set the app’s selected unit of measure to imperial, some of the data displayed on the screen will change, where others will stay the same.
