How to connect to Zwift

This article will provide insight on how to connect and run with Zwift on your NoblePro Elite E10i treadmill with the added features provided by NoblePro Connect Bluetooth module V4.

There are two options available to connect to Zwift, that both have the same capabilities:

Run Zwift directly on the treadmill screen
Run Zwift on an external device e.g. Tablet/Phone

Caution - Clicking the E10i home screen button If you click the home button on the treadmill screen, you will close Zwift and need to re-log back in. Your run session will not be saved in Zwift.

How and what data is sent to Zwift?

The Bluetooth module V4 offers advanced functionality compared to V3 with sending and receiving treadmill data to Zwift.

As of writing this article, Zwift does not take full advantage of the FTMS capabilities and will only read speed and incline information.

FTMS – Sends the speed and incline data from the treadmill (read more).

Cadence (virtual) –To capture stride length. This avoids needing a foot pod for Zwift event as we send cadence data based on your treadmill’s data.

Heart rate – Sends the heart rate data from the treadmill from your BLE heart rate monitor or handle bars.

How to connect Treadmill/Cadence data

Connect your treadmill by selecting ‘Run Speed’ and choose “NoblePro Connect”
Once connected, a green tick underneath the treadmill icon will appear
This will automatically connect to your virtual foot pod (to enable cadence data). The virtual food pod is installed inside the treadmill

How to connect Heart Rate data

The E10i offers three options for capturing heart rate data which can be connected to Zwift.

Heart rate monitor > Zwift
Connect your BLE heart rate monitor directly in Zwift. None of the data will be captured by the treadmill itself.

Heart rate monitor > treadmill > Zwift
Connect your BLE heart rate monitor directly to the treadmill. The treadmill will be able to capture and forward the data to Zwift.

Heart rate handle bars > Zwift
When holding onto the heart rate handle bars, the treadmill will be able to capture and forward the data to Zwift.

Connect your treadmill by selecting ‘Heart rate’ and choose “NoblePro Connect”
A list of heart rate devices will be provided
Once connected, a green tick underneath the heart rate icon will appear
