Kinni is NoblePro’s connected training app. It allows supported completed workout data to move between Kinni and your phone’s health platform:
- Apple Health on iPhone
- Health Connect on Android
Depending on your NoblePro treadmill, you can use Kinni directly on the treadmill’s built-in display or from a compatible phone or tablet.
Kinni on the built-in display
The following smart NoblePro treadmills have Kinni available directly on their touchscreen:
- NoblePro Elite E8ix
- NoblePro Elite E10i
This allows you to start and record supported Kinni workouts from the treadmill display without needing to use your phone as the main workout screen. These models also support Kinni through a compatible phone or tablet.
When you are signed in, Kinni Cloud can keep supported Kinni information, such as completed sessions, saved workouts and goals, connected with your account across signed-in devices.
Kinni on a phone or tablet
Other compatible NoblePro treadmills use the Kinni mobile app. Kinni connects to the treadmill through its supported Bluetooth service and can record the workout data made available by the treadmill and any connected sensors.
Available treadmill data and control capabilities vary by model and connection type.
How workout data reaches your health platform
The exact route depends on where you use Kinni.
When using Kinni on a phone
- Kinni connects to your compatible NoblePro treadmill.
- Kinni records the supported workout data.
- After the workout is completed, Kinni can export the session to Apple Health or Health Connect, depending on your permissions and sync settings.
When using Kinni on an E8ix or E10i display
- You record the workout using Kinni on the treadmill’s built-in display.
- Supported Kinni data can be synchronised with your Kinni account.
- Kinni on your compatible phone manages the connection to Apple Health or Health Connect.
For current cross-device and health-platform synchronisation behaviour, refer to the official Kinni documentation linked below.
What the health integration can do
Depending on your phone platform, Kinni settings and the permissions you grant, Kinni can:
- Automatically export completed Kinni sessions to Apple Health or Health Connect.
- Import supported workout history from your phone’s health store into Kinni.
- Import supported outdoor running, treadmill running and walking workouts when they contain sufficient detailed data.
- Display the current connection, import, export and synchronisation status.
- Show when the last import or export took place.
- Run an initial synchronisation or manually refresh the connection.
- Avoid importing a workout back into Kinni when it was originally exported by Kinni.
Not every health-platform workout can be imported. Kinni may exclude unsupported activity types or workouts that contain only summary information. Metrics can also differ between apps because each platform may store and process workout data differently.
Watches and live heart rate
Apple Health and Health Connect are used for sharing completed workout history. Live heart-rate data from an Apple Watch or Wear OS watch is a separate Kinni capability.
A supported watch can act as a live heart-rate source while a workout is being recorded through Kinni:
- Apple Watch can provide live heart rate during an iPhone-led Kinni session.
- A compatible Wear OS watch can provide live heart rate during an Android-led Kinni session.
