This page contains the instructions to replace the running board [60] for the NoblePro Elite Series treadmills (NPE78848E8is, NPE78844E8i, NPE78847E8s, NPE78843E8.0).
WARNING: Mains voltage can be dangerous. Ensure the needed safety precautions are taken before undertaking these instructions.
What will I need?
To undertake the replacement you will need:
- Replacement running board.
- Star screwdriver.
- 6mm allen key
Remember: Part will be reused. Keep all the parts removed, besides the broken running board.
!Safety first!
Turn off the treadmill by the wall and unplug the cable from the treadmill power socket and wait 20 mins for the capacitors to discharge.
Removing the foot rails and guides
1. Remove the motor cover by removing the 4 retaining screws.
2. Remove the rear corner covers [84 & 85]
3. Remove foot rail fixing screws on the motor side
4. Remove foot rail fixing screws on the underside of the running board near the back
5. Remove the foot rails by sliding them away from the motor side of the treadmill
6. Remove the foot rail guides 8 x [79] from the old board
Removing the rear roller
7. Using a 6 mm allen key remove the rear roller bolts [82]
8. Remove the rear roller
Removing running belt
9. Remove the screws holding the running board [60] to the frame [2]
– 4 x [66]
– 2 x [67]
10. Slide the running belt [60] our from under the running belt [73]
Installing the new board
11. Install the foot rail guides 8 x [79] from the old board on the new board
12. Slide the new board into place on the frame [2]
13. Reinstall the screws holding the running board [60] to the frame [2]
– 4 x [66]
– 2 x [67]
Reinstall the rear roller
14. Place the rear roller [81] in position
15. Using a 6 mm allen key reinstall the rear roller bolts [82]
Note: at this stage only lightly tension belt. Final tensioning and alignment will take place at the end.-
Reinstalling the foot rails
16. Reinstall the foot rails by sliding them towards the motor side of the treadmill
17. Reinstall the foot rail fixing screws on the underside of the running board near the back
18. Reinstall the foot rail fixing screws on the motor side
19. Reinstall the rear corner covers [84 & 85]
20. Reinstall the motor cover by removing the 4 retaining screws
