How to run a Workout | NoblePro

The NoblePro Go app allows you to create and run Workouts and Custom Workouts that control your treadmill automatically.

Running the Workouts in the app is simple, but there are a few things to keep in mind.

To run a Workout you need to follow these steps:

Step 1

Connect your phone or tablet to your treadmill.

Step 2

Select the Workout you want to run from the Workouts tab, and tap Start workout.

Please note:

  1. If you have selected a Fixed Workout, you will then be prompted to select the total duration you would like to run for.
  2. Flexible Workouts have a set duration. You won’t need to select a duration.

Read about the differences between Workout types here.

 Step 3

Once the app opens the Run tab, tap Ready.

During the run

Once the Workout has started the app controls the treadmill’s speed and incline automatically.

You only need focus on your training, instead of adjusting the treadmill’s settings.

Adjusting the Workout

You can make speed or incline adjustments for specific Splits during the run.

The run screen controls look a little different when you’re running a Workout:

the speed controls are blue, and the incline controls are orange.

The circled +/- values above the controls show your Workout adjustments.

Speed and incline controls also work differently when you’re running a Workout. Instead of setting the treadmill’s speed directly, they adjust the Workout’s splits.

So, if the current split is set to, for example:

Current Split
Adjustment
Actual value on the treadmill
Speed
5.0 kph
0
5.0 kph
Incline
3.0 %
0
3.0 %

If you were to tap the (speed -1) button twice, and the (incline +1) button once, this would adjust the treadmill as follows:

Current Split
Adjustment
Actual value on the treadmill
Speed
5.0 kph
-2
3.0 kph
Incline
3.0 %
+1
4.0 %

What makes this great is that these adjustments are remembered for the rest of the Workout. Meaning that when the next Split is triggered, the adjustments will remain, and automatically be applied.

So, for instance, if the next Split has a speed/incline of 10kph/5%, the table would look like this:

Current Split
Adjustment
Actual value on the treadmill
Speed
10.0 kph
-2
8.0 kph
Incline
5.0 %
+1
6.0 %

These adjustments are smart enough to never go beyond your treadmill’s maximum or minimums for speed and incline, so you can safely adjust them!

It’s important to understand that they also work for both metric and imperial units.

Let’s have a look at two ways of creating Custom Workouts:

  1. Creating a Custom Workout by using the Workout Creator, and,
  2. Converting a previously completed session into a Custom Workout.
