Running Belt & Board Replacement

This page contains the instructions to replace the running board and / or belt for the NoblePro Elite E10 Series treadmills.

WARNING: Mains voltage can be dangerous. Ensure the needed safety precautions are taken before undertaking these instructions.

What will I need?

To undertake the replacement you will need:

  • Philips screwdriver
  • Allen Key – 5mm

Safety first

In order to undertake this procedure, start the treadmill and set the incline to max (16%). Once the treadmill has reached the maximum incline, turn off the treadmill at the mains socket and wait 20 mins for the capacitors to discharge. This will ensure the treadmill remains inclined throughout the below procedures as required.

Instructions

For the purpose of this guide, the front of the treadmill refers to the console end. The left and right sides are described from the perspective of standing on the treadmill as if in use.

Replacing the Running Board

1.Remove End Caps
Remove the two screws on each of the end caps located at the rear of the treadmill. (The image shows the left-hand side.) Take off the end caps.

2. Remove Post Covers
Locate and remove the 2 upright post covers at the base of the treadmill legs.

3. Remove the Motor Cover
Unscrew the screws on each side of the treadmill that are securing the motor hood and carefully remove the cover. The motor hood clips in / out along the front edge.

4. Detach Foot Rails
Slide both foot rails off by pulling them toward the rear of the treadmill.

5. Remove the Earth Screw
Unscrew and remove the earth screw on the right-hand side toward the front of the treadmill.

6. Remove Upright Post Covers

Remove the 3 screws from the cover on the right hand side (plastic cover).  There is 1 screw on top and 2 underneath.

7. Remove Foot Rail Mounts
Detach the eight foot rail mounts (four on each side).

  • If you are replacing only the running belt, you may skip this step.
  •

8. Detach Board from Frame
Remove the 4 Allen bolts from the running deck. 2 each side, 1 at the front and 1 at the rear.

9. Remove the Running Board

Slide the running board out to the right hand side of the treadmill. You will need to lift it slightly to raise it over the mounting studs on which it sits.

10. Install the New Board

Fit the new board and reverse the above steps to reinstall all components.

Replacing the Running Belt

Follow Steps 1–9 in the “Replacing the Running Board” section, skipping Step 7.

1.Remove the Rear Roller Bolt
Use an Allen key to remove the bolt on the right-hand side securing the rear roller to the frame.

2. Remove the Front Roller Bolt
Unscrew the bolt on the right-hand side of the front roller.

3. Remove and Replace the Running Belt
The running belt will now slide out from the right-hand side.
Fit the new belt, then reinstall by following the removal steps in reverse.

4. Adjust Tension
Once the new belt is installed, follow the NoblePro guide on how to tension the running belt to ensure optimal performance.

Final Test

  • Plug the treadmill back in
  • Run the treadmill at a low speed (e.g. 4-6 km/h) and watch the belt movement
  • Gradually increase speed and ensure smooth operation.
