How to use background apps

This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to use Background Apps on your NoblePro E10i / E8ix treadmill screen.

What are Background Apps?

An on-screen app that is running in the background of another app / screen interface. Thus meaning, none of it’s activities or services are visible to the user in the foreground.

Why would I want Background Apps?

Allowing Background Apps means you can run multiple apps at the same time. For example, if you want to use Zwift but have Spotify playing music in the background.

How do I enable background apps?

1. Go into Settings and Select Advanced settings

2. Select the Background Apps tab

3. Select the Apps you would like to allow to run in the background

4. Tap the Save button

Warning Be selective with which apps you would like to run in the background. Each app you enable will use resources and may slow down the system.

How do I Open / Close Background Apps?

After starting a run, you are able to access your Background Apps if you:

1. Select the Home icon

2. Select the App you wish to open

3. You can also close all background apps from here by tapping the Close apps button
